The Gradebook Interface and Settings
Study
Gradebook Interface
The Gradebook can be found by clicking on the Grades tab in the course navigation. Here you will see the three areas of the gradebook:
- Navigation and settings
- Student roster
- Grades area
The Gradebook will display a column for each assignment, discussion, or quiz that is graded in the course. Practice activities and ungraded activities do not display a column in the Gradebook.
Teachers can input scores manually by clicking on the cell where the desired score should go. Navigating from one student to the next or between assignments can be accomplished with the direction arrows or by selecting return.
Gradebook Settings
You will find additional features and settings by selecting these menu items in the top-left of the Gradebook.
By mousing over any of the columns and clicking on the pip menu that appears in the column header, you can change how Gradebook information is displayed.
These settings give you access to a variety of additional features.
